THE RILEY FILES
In Loving Memory of Martha Anna Thomas Riley 5/21/32-11/28/18
Please see Martha's obituary listed under Riley Family Details below.
AS I CREATED THIS PAGE with Dr. Paul Riley's stories, he and I emailed back and forth for several weeks. The emails from Dr. Paul contained attachments of his different stories in Microsoft Word document format. And in response, if I had any questions, my reply emails would contain such or just a big THANK YOU. Dr. Paul can be quite humorous! In one batch of stories that he sent, he expressed concern that some may be too graphic or "risque for general public consumption." I assured him that it would be fine because I knew that all who know Dr. Paul and his lovely wife, love Dr. Paul and his lovely wife! God is real and present in their lives and any comment or line in any story that may be construed as a bit "risque" is completely innocent. His statement: "What about the hickeys and the monkey business? I do not want to be excommunicated." I couldn't hold back the laughter! God is so good!! He provides us with wonderful friends and family with whom we can grow together and worship Him with! I thank God for Dr. Paul and Martha Riley!!
-Respectfully, Sheri Bridges, Webmaster P.S. Yes, some of the stories can be a tad graphic as Dr. Paul is a retired doctor and surgeon. You have been warned. :) Note from Dr. Paul:
"I noticed that the pic of my parents with baby David shows them standing in front of the Church which was later lifted off those high pillars by a bomb. One of the pillars is visible in the pic. The church and houses had to be built up on pillars because of the deep mud at Rock Lick." Humor |
